HARRIS FAMILY OBITS

Elbert Lee Harris, SR. - Obituary

Funeral services for Elbert Lee Harris, Sr., 71, pioneer resident of Coopers, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home at Coopers. The Rev. Lawrence Steele, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness church at Bramwell, will officiate and will be assisted by the Rev. A. L. Davis of Parkersburg.

Mr. Harris died Sunday at his home.

Surviving are his widow, Dora Jane Bell Harris of Coopers, and thirteen children:

J. F. Harris, J. M. Harris, W. I. Harris and J. E. Harris, all of Coopers; S. J. Harris of Richmond, VA.; Elbert Lee Harris, Jr., of Bramwell; George B. Harris of the United States Navy; Mrs. Edith Butt of Coopers; Mrs. J. K. Robinett and Mrs. Charles Carter of Pocahontas, VA.; Mrs. Claude Wilburn of Shawsville, VA.; Mrs. Ray Moore of Spanishburg, and Mrs. Paul Fleming of Warren, Ohio.

Three brothers and one sister also survive. They are: Ed Harris of Indianapolis, Ind., Charles Harris of Draper, N. C., John Harris of Glace and Mrs. John Clark of Pulaski, VA. Thirty-three grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers will be: R. S. Byrd, Berry Stokes, Fred Niswander, T. A. Niswander, Dan Shrader, Wiley Hill, George Stanger and B. A. Martain.

Flowerbearers will be grandchildren of the deceased.

Burial will be in the Bell Cemetery.
