Rosa Lee Harris Moore - Obituary

 

MRS. ROSE L. MOORE

Mrs. Rose L. Moore, 74, of Gardener Community, died in a Princeton hospital Monday morning following a short illness.

She was born at Coopers, a daughter of the late Elbert L. and Dora Bell Harris. She was a member of the Rich Creek Baptist Church at Spanishburg.

Survivors include her husband, Ray A. Moore; two sons, Frederick A. (Buck) Moore and John W. (Tige) Moore, both of Princeton; one daughter, Mrs. Lavonne Lilly of Princeton; four sisters, Mrs. Claude Wilburn of Radford, Va., Mrs. Charles Carter of Pocahontas, Va., Mrs. Lois Fleming of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Irvin Butt of Coopers; four brothers, J. F. Harris of Coopers, Sam Harris of Flemingsburg, Ky., E. L. Harris of Warren, Ohio, and George B. Harris of Lynchburg, Va.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton with Rev. Ralph Calfee officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Princeton.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
Flowerbearers will be nieces.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.

Rosa Lee died Sept. 12, 1977. Her obituary appeared in the Bluefield Telegraph newspaper of Bluefield, WV at that time.
